Further Genre Research

since we chose the genre 'horror', we researched into other horror films. by analysing these different movies we were able to see the different techniques used to create the perfect suspense. from this we were also able to see what we could have added in our movie to improve it. here is a list of the classic techniques used in horror films:
- phonecalls
- weather (rainy)
- background sounds: music (low fi or high tempo), objects smashed, tv, dead phone line

Chosen Location

Out of the two locations that we discussed, we were determined to use the graveyard for our final production.

This is the graveyard we decided to use, nonetheless to suit our genre (horror) we strong-willed to shoot the film in the evening as it would have an enhancing affect.
